As you read Jennifer's story, please keep in mind the holographic information from last week: that the part (Jennifer) has access to the whole (her ancestors and more), and there is an interconnection and interpenetration of all existence.

Jennifer’s (pseudonym) life-long image of her mother was as a poisonous spider, and Jennifer saw herself in the center of her mother's web. As a child, Jennifer had been physically and emotionally abused by her mother. She could not recall if her mother had sexually abused her, but Jennifer learned later on in life that her mother had sexually abused someone in the extended family. At the time we met, Jennifer’s mother just had knee surgery and a stroke and was needy. Jennifer did not want anything to do with her mother, but in light of the current situation felt obliged to be kind to her mother AND be true to herself.

After discussion, Jennifer made her decree:  I AM a safe, loved, loving person. Through feeling-based prayer, I asked God and God’s Divine Therapists, the Angels, to assist her in fulfilling her decree and to transmute anything unlike what she called for into divine light and love.

Jennifer immediately reported she felt sad for her own pain. She became aware that her pain was the pain of a lineage of people. These are her words transcribed from my notes. “See so many members of family – they’ve passed – so many ways they dealt with their sadness: drank, fought. They were angry. I see them all in a kind of hell, moaning and crying, wanting out and not knowing what to do. Word that comes is redemption. Somewhere in family’s lineage hurting others became a way of avoiding their own pain.”

I’m going to stop quoting now and just summarize; otherwise this would be too lengthy and I know how valuable your time is.

Jennifer sensed there was a secret. We asked the secret to reveal itself. It had to do with war. Her family was part of it. There were Native Americans being killed and the Civil War. She saw herself and her grandpa digging up arrow heads and she felt the sadness for all the blood, loss and violence. We asked Spirit to transmute the loss and pain Jennifer was experiencing through her family’s history. Jennifer then saw all the dead ancestors being freed from their suffering, guilt, shame; from all the blood that was shed. She saw her ancestors resting and as one energy. She reported her body felt lighter; that she had a sense of renewal. She saw light; she heard “peace”. She saw an energy, like fire, consuming the web, burning it up. She saw the ashes of all the pain, sorrow, suffering burned away. Then she reported a pain in her heart and she realized she had been carrying the pain of other people. We asked this pain to be transmuted into divine light and love, whereupon her body began shaking. She sensed every cell in her body being penetrated and allowed herself to surrender so Spirit could do what we asked. She was standing next to a beautiful stream and jumped in. It was a stream of white energy which brought her to the place of “just being.” And she was reminded to listen to her own heart beat and to remember “I AM a safe, loved, loving person.”

This work was done a few years ago and I am not presently in contact with Jennifer, but shortly after the session I received an email from her in which she said:

“Barbara, I just want to let you know that our session on Monday has been very helpful. I experienced what it is like to ask and receive, be still and know. Also, it is comforting to know that some of my ancestors may be at peace now. I spoke with my mother today and was able to be in the moment with her, without feeling angry of judgmental. That’s a big change.”

I am thankful for Jennifer and the lesson I learned from her: that when we heal ourselves, we can influence healing for the whole; even the souls of those who have passed before us.

I ask again, do we or do we not live in a holographic world?

Re: HOLOGRAPHY PART 2 -- THE STORY

I am surprised to see no comments, this is a wonderful story. It holds so much truth. Sometimes it takes understanding our ancestry to understand our relatives, especially the ones that may have hurt us so badly. The way Jennifer saw the events that transpired through her ancesters allowed for healing of self, possibly because in recognizing the reasons for abuse allows forgiveness. This is where we can see that everyone does the best that they can, even if it is abusive. Only in forgiveness can we truely be healed. Deffinetly a holographic world I would say.
